Obituary to Stan (Buddy) Davies at Barrington Diesel Club
Our deepest condolences to Anita and to Stan's whole family.
Stan to us and the engine industry, Buddy to his family and church, sadly passed away quietly, at about 8.15 pm 1st Nov 2011, while watching TV with Anita at home.
He will be deeply missed by his family and friends, but as a servant of the Lord, his was a heavenly goal, and so, with great humility, let it be.
The funeral service will be at 2.00 pm Monday 7th November At the Maranatha Community Church, corner of Dann Road and Vlei Street, Glen Marias, Kempton Park
Stan was well know to the Detroit Diesel 2 stroke industry and began that Detroit career with Davies Diesel in Zambia as a young man.
He worked for several Detroit Specialists over the years, and often his job was to train and instruct others, at which task he was a master.
For the last 20 years or so, Stan ran his own business as a sole proprietor from his premises in Kempton Park.
Stan was a member of the Maranatha Community Church in Kempton Park for many years, and always spoke proudly about them.
Everyone who had dealings with Stan found him to be honest, reliable, professional in business, and a true servant of the Lord in all aspects of his life.
