Your Diesel Engine Specs

Basic specs are open to everyone and include images, displacement, dimensions and weight, essential bolt tightening torques, the characteristics of the engine like its power and torque.
Essential bolt tightening torques are the main bearing cap bolt torque, the connecting rod cap bolt torque and the cylinder head bolt torques.

Ford v6 engines essential bolt tightening torques 1993-2003

V6 Main bearing cap stud/bolts 
Mains 1 ,2 and 3 
85 to 91 lb.ft, 115 to 123 Nm

Rear main
81 to 88, 109 to 119 Nm

v6 Connecting Rod Bolts
Step 1 = 85 to 91 lb.ft, 115 to 123 Nm
Step 2 = + 90°

v6 engine Cylinder head Bolts
Step 1 = 168 in.lb, 19 Nm
Step 2 = 29 lb.ft, 39 Nm
Step 3 = 36 lb.ft, 49 Nm
Step 4 = Loosen 3 turns 
(DO NOT loosen all the bolts at the same time, from
this point on work on one bolt at a time) 
(see Section 7 of workshop manual)
Step 5
 ..Long bolts = 30 to 36 lb.ft, 41 to 49 Nm
 ..Short bolts = 15 to 22 lb.ft, 20 to 30 Nm
Step 6 (all bolts) = + 175 to 185°
